HVAC\R Service and Repair Technician

Position Description:



Possess technical ability to properly install components such as compressors, motors, bearings, refrigeration components, all EMS control strategy components, etc.

Must have a basic understanding of all the tools of the trade (Recovery recycle equipment, Soldering techniques, Vacuum pump, Multi-meter, and more).

Capable of comprehending and interpreting wiring schematics for all HVAC/R, and energy management equipment.

Must have good mathematical skills to be able to maintain adequate repair parts stock levels. Will also record inventoried parts for proper tracking.

Ability to compile and processes proper warranty paperwork for correct compensation on labor and or parts.

Learn to perform a scope of work when requested to update existing HVAC/R or Energy management systems including duct design, load calculations, equipment controls, airflow, piping, control wiring and overall system design to maintain the desired comfort levels.

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
• Entry Level experience repairing and/or servicing Commercial and Residential HVAC/R Equipment
• Completion of HVAC/R Vocational/Technical Program.
